We are excited to invite you to join Mari Research and Development’s volunteer program. Our organization is a not-for-profit civil society organization operating in northeast Syria, established in 2019 and registered in Canada in 2020. We were founded by a group of educated, dynamic, and like-minded youth who were working in development and wanted to establish an organization to address the most urgent and pressing needs of people in Syria.

At MRD, we are committed to building a stable and just society where peace and respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms prevail. We believe that promoting cohesive and tolerant societies where justice and equality prevail is crucial. Therefore, we seek to promote human rights and make them the primary drivers of the diverse societies that we target through our work.
