Through Mari’s Women Center for Freedom and Human Rights, MRD seeks to address women’s main issues through forming a women-based network and providing a safe space for women who are affected by the ongoing conflict in Syria. This center works on capacity building for women, supporting gender roles in the local communities, raising awareness on gender roles and enhancing women’s inclusion in the public sphere.
